In this class, we chose to teach Signal Processing in a formally rigorous way; the obvious upside is that you will learn things in a (hopefully) solid and systematic way, yet we are aware that sometimes the theoretical principles and derivations may prove a bit... dry.

To offset that, we have prepared a series of not-too-technical videos called the " Signal of the Day "; from variations in stock markets to changes of temperature in meteorology, you will be see how the techniques you are learning in class can be put to work in an incredible range of problems.

You can use the Signal of the Day videos either as a relaxing interlude between more theoretical videos or as a motivational tool to convince you of the ubiquity of signal processing in everyday life. Either way, we hope you enjoy them!
